Scoil Mhic Dara have won a €10,000 prize fund with thanks to one of their younger students.
She created the winning Christmas Card design in a competition for primary schools run by Quinn Direct & The Late Late Show.

Mairead Mhic Dhonnacha , Principal of Scoil Mhic Dara School said: "We are delighted to have won this prize fund, and are very proud of Sophie´s entry. In these difficult times it it can be a challenge to keep up with the financial demands of running a school such as ours, so this will certainly lighten the load. It is also nice to see a company like Quinn-direct contributing like this to the local community and promoting creativity among the children."
