Ginger Snap

Lemonade

Anti-Bacterial!

Ready in Minutes

Just 3 Ingredients

Why We Love It

This recipe is so easy to make and tastes just delicious! Kids will love it as a healthy alternative to their regular sugar fix.

The lemon and honey properties of this drink means that it is perfect for kids have a sore throat or cough. We like Manuka honey as it has antibacterial properties which can speed up recovery during illness!

Ginger is commonly used to treat various types of "stomach problems," including motion sickness, morning sickness, colic, upset stomach, gas, diarrhoea and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

What You'll Need

1 Inch x Piece of Ginger
3 x Lemons
Cup x Honey (we like Manuka)
1 Cup x Boiling Water
Ice and water

Method

Slice the ginger thinly and juice the lemons.

Mix the ginger, honey and the boiling water together. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved and leave to the side for ten minutes.

In a separate 2 litre container, fill with ice. When the ginger has infused with the honey after ten minutes, strain into the container. Add the lemon juice and fill with water. Stir well.
