Key Dates for September

• End of August / Beginning September – Schools throughout the country re-open. Individual schools will notify parents of opening dates.
• September – Leaving Certificate Results issue 23rd August 2024

• Mon 4th November – Schools re-open after mid-term
• Halloween falls on Thurs 31st October.

Key Dates for December

• 20th December – Final Day of Christmas Term
• Mon 23rd December to Friday 3rd January incl – Christmas School Holidays

• Monday 6th January – Schools re-open
• 1st February – CAO Closing Date

February Mid-Term Break*

• Secondary closed Mon 17th – Fri 21st Feb incl.
• Primary closed Thurs 20th – Fri 21st Feb with option to extend to 5 day break (17th-21st).
