Leaving Certificate Results 2022

Friday 2nd September




Results Availability & Access

#1 Leaving Cert results will be available on Friday 2nd September at 10am through the Candidate Self Service Portal.

#2 Leaving Cert Applied students will also be able to view their ‘Statement of Provisional Results’ online. This will show the credits you have achieved.

2nd September - 10am - Issue of results to students & schools
6th Sept- 12pm - Student Portal re-opens providing additional data on student grades
6th Sept- 5pm - Applications to View Scripts Opens
7th Sept- 8pm - Applications to View Scripts Closes
8th Sept - 2pm CAO Round 1 offers issued
10th Sept - 12pm - Viewing of Scripts
10th Sept - 9am - Appeals Application Process Opens
12th Sept- 12pm - Appeals Application Process Closes
14th Sept - 3pm - Acceptance cut off for Round 1 CAO Offers
19th Sept - CAO Round 2 offers issued to students

21st Sept - 3pm - Acceptance cut off for Round 2 CAO Offers

The National Parents Council Post Primary
In association with the Irish Independent, The ICG, the Dept. of Ed and supported by the GAA, the NPCPP run a Helpline every year for Students, Parents and advisors.
The HelpLine 1800 265 165 will open:
Friday 2nd until Wednesday 14th September from 2pm - 8pm daily.


Careers Portal
CareersPortal.ie has an online points calculator and a Mobile App which allows students to check what CAO Points they have achieved, based on their Leaving Cert results. Students also have quick and easy access to the CourseFinder+ on CareersPortal, which shows the latest available course points information and the points history for all Higher Education and CAO Courses, together with QQI links.


UL Maths Exam Provides 2nd Chance for Students
The University of Limerick (UL) offer a special entrance maths exam on Friday 9th September 22 (12pm - 2.30pm) for students who achieve sufficient CAO entry points and satisfy all other entrance requirements but did not achieve the requisite grade in Mathematics (Ordinary or Honours) to enter a science and engineering course.
