Inside Out Camp is a residential multi activity Summer Camp incorporating a variety of indoor and outdoor activities designed to teach valuable skills from survival and team building to leadership, planning and communication. The camps will be hosted in St. Columba’s College at the foothills of the Dublin mountains.

A strong sense of self is at the core of all learnings as at Inside Out Camp we believe that when a teen has confidence and really understands and accepts who they are, they are more likely to want to experience new things, think outside the box, and ultimately go for the things they want in life. Delivering these life lessons in a non-academic environment is what Inside Out Camp is all about. Resulting in creating a fun and positive experience in which participants are comfortable to be themselves, try new things, gain confidence and self-esteem in the process. The ‘sleepover’ element really is a crucial part of their experience as the time away from home offers them the chance to really immerse themselves in the spirit and learnings of the camp.

Our team have extensive experience, are fully trained, and Garda vetted. Founder Tracey Moran Russouw is a parent of three with a passion for youth mental health who believes in the benefits of a camp experience as part of young people’s personal development. Inside Out Camp is a Not-for-Profit initiative to educate teens about who they are, how their minds work and how to make good choices in life.

Leadership & Mindset coach Shane Cradock and Senator Joan Freeman Founder of Pieta House; have both played crucial roles in establishing the camp ethos and learnings. Shane has over 20 years’ experience working with people internationally to improve their levels of clarity, confidence, and results; an essential focus of the camp. Joan in her capacity as an international mental health consultant, activist, and motivational speaker has been an important sounding board regarding the camps proactive approach to teen mental health.

The activity programme is devised by founder Tracey Russouw and delivered by Hillary Netsiyanwa a training and development specialist and owner of Nets Athletic Training.
