Pokémon Inspired
Halloween Costumes
for Kids & Teens

Cute Pikachu

Pikachu is quite easy to recreate for either boys or girls. All you need is a (very) yellow hoodie or a onsie. From there, you can either draw or glue on some cut outs of pikachus main features. You will have to use cardboard cut outs for the ears and tail and attach them to the hoodie or onsie. It will be a great project to work on with the kids but if you find you just don't have the time, you can buy the ready made costume here.

Ash Ketchum

Recreate everyone's favourite Pokémon trainer, Ash Ketchum. This look is so simple to recreate and is yet so strikingly Pokémon inspired! All you need is a pair of jeans, a blue jacket with white sleeves, a red baseball cap and green cut off gloves. Add a pokéball or an inexpensive Pikachu teddy for good measure.

Misty

Another super easy Pokémon character costume you can create is Misty. Her style is very simple. All you need is a pair of denim shorts, a yellow tank top and red braces. Red converse runners would complete the look but are not essential. Again, a Pokéball would only add to the overall effect.

Pokéball

If your child can't decide which pokémon to dress up as or if your time and money is strained already, why not recreate this clever Pokéball costume? All you need is a red top, white bottoms and a little DIY on the Pokébelt, sorted! Your child can throw themselves at other kids dressed as Pokémon, how fun!

Baby Pikachu

And just because it's so darn cute, here's a picture of a sleeping baby dressed up like Pikachu. I think our hearts just swelled a little!
