Christmas gift ideas for teenagers 12 - 14 years
The Late Late Toy Show has been and gone and most likely the kids are already busy writing down their never ending Christmas lists, all while you are too calculating the astronomical costs of Christmas this year.
If buying Christmas presents for your teenagers and tweens is filling you with dread, and if trying to please your 13 year old with a Christmas stocking surprise seems like an impossible task, don’t despair! - Retro Headphones: If your teen is into music chances are they will want to listen to a band-you-have-never-heard of all while looking cool with some retro headphones. Prices start at 20 euros.
- Ugg Boots: The popular Australian Ugg Boot hasn’t gone away and there are now different styles for your teen to choose from this Christmas. New editions include biker boot style with buckles. Prices start at 150 euro with lots of suppliers around Ireland.
- Junior First Driving Lesson - Kildare: 14 year olds allowed to drive? Are you insane? Well the answer is yes to a brave company in Kildare who are offering driving lessons to those under the age of logical sense. Specially trained instructors teach teens on a private course which is a nice preview into the the ’mandatory’ driving lessons they will demand when they reach 17. Prices start at 40 euro.
- Selfie-Stick: The newest fad amongst teens and shameless adults is the Selfie-Stick, which is essentially a stick that can carry your phone to give you a better angled selfies. Worked by remote control this is and relatively affordable stocking filler. Prices start at 30 euro.
- Books: There are literally hundreds of titles that will make for great teen reading for those tentatively entering the adult world. Top favorites this year are The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, The Fault in our Stars, by John Greene, and classics like To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and Diary of Anne Frank by Anne Frank.
