The Treetop Walk culminates at the spectacular Viewing Tower, 38m high above the forest floor with panoramic 360-degree views of the Wicklow Mountains, the Vale of Avoca and the Avonmore River. To complete this innovative experience, whizz back down the tower via the gigantic 90m spiral slide (optional).
At Home with the Parnell's, features a fascinating guided tour of the beautifully renovated, historic 18th Century Avondale House that celebrates the heritage of the Parnell family. Hear all about the life and times of Charles Stewart Parnell, and the formidable women in his family. It will also introduce you to the champion of trees Samuel Hayes and give you a taste of life when Avondale was a pioneering forestry school.

Enjoy a taste of Wicklow at the contemporary Seed Café, where our culinary team design seasonally inspired menus from local produce.
The view from the Seed Café extends out onto the picturesque Walled Garden. From here, experience the adventurous children’s playground, the stimulating sensory garden in the courtyard and discover an abundance of forest walking trails.
The Seed Cafe has a reserved area to accommodate pre-booked groups. From here, visitors can enjoy a complimentary self-guided visit to the Coillte Pavilion where they will learn all about the evolution of forestry in Ireland along with Coillte's work throughout the past, the present and the plans for the future.
Visitors will also explore the themes of forestry for climate, for nature, for wood and for people and how the sector can contribute to our sustainable future and climate action.

Beyond the Trees Avondale is a unique visitor destination suitable for all ages. The Treetop Walk, Viewing Tower and Avondale House tours are all buggy and wheelchair accessible. U18's must be accompanied by an adult. U6's must be accompanied by an adult on the 90m Spiral Slide.
