When you want to reduce screen time, podcasts can be a great distraction. While there’s a huge range of choice for adults, are there many for kids? Turns out there are! We found a number of them covering different topics to suit everyone.
Here is a round-up of the top 8 podcasts for the SchoolDays community:

  1. Brains On

Brains On!® is a science podcast for curious kids and adults from American Public Media. Each week, a different kid co-host joins Molly Bloom to find answers to fascinating questions about the world sent in by listeners. Like, do dogs know they’re dogs? Or, why do feet stink? Plus, we have mystery sounds for you to guess, songs for you to dance to, and lots of facts -- all checked by experts.

It's no doubt been a challenging time for us all, but it’s been especially difficult for our kids. Over the course of the week, the podcasts will explore mindfulness techniques that can help them deal with the array of different emotions they may be.
