iDonate for online fundraising

School Fundraising

Since the start of the Covid pandemic, school fundraising has changed dramatically. Virtual events, such as online raffles and fundraising pages are now the main source of income. iDonate currently works with lots of schools on fundraising projects. Those range from Primary, Secondary, Educate Together, Gaelscoils and several schools with Additional Needs classes. Fundraising campaigns are initiated and managed directly by the school or by Parents Associations.

Main Features

iDonate online raffleThe most popular method of fundraising for schools is an online raffle. Once the prizes are organised, an online raffle can be setup in minutes. The easy of setup and results will amaze you.
Another popular fundraiser is the online fundraising page. This is typically for a specific school project, such as a sports facility, classroom, or playground, etc. A target and duration for fundraiser are set at the outset. Those who support the project have the option to leave a comment, plus share on social media. The progress of the fundraiser is continually measured and progress is displayed on the Fundraising Page. Other fundraising options are also available once you get familiar with the system.

Fees

iDonate charges a 4% platform fee, plus a transaction fee. The transaction fee varies depending on credit / debit card, PayPal or Stripe. iDonate also gives the donor the option to cover the total fees. This results in an average net cost to the school of approximately 1.5% of the total collected. There are no setup charges or ongoing subscriptions.
