Hi everyone. My husband has accepted a job in Dublin, we will be moving there sometime in April. We are extremely excited! We have been told by his employer that ParkWest is a good place to live, so I am writing to ask about schools in the area. I have a 6 year old and an 8 year old. My 6 year old is in 1st grade, and I homeschool my 8 year old who is in 3rd grade. I plan on sending them both to public school in Ireland. Can anyone give me any advice as to what schools they would attend living in the ParkWest area (Dublin 12)? Also, are religious classes required? We are not Catholic, but I´ve noticed that almost all of the schools are. :) Thank you in advance for any help!

Hi and welcome... not really au fait with Dublin 12 but you should probably look for an educate together school http://www.educatetogether.ie/ which do a broad religion class but in Ireland there are no secular schools.
hope this helps
