I can recommend colaiste na bhfiann as I sent my daughter there - she loved it in sixth class and first year and will go back for her third time in July. It is well run but very strict about speaking Irish. If it´s your childs first time away from home , it can be more about the social interaction and learning independence and it might be easier on the child to go somewhere like Uisce which is a little less strict on the Irish and also has the water activities. Eitherway, they are all quite expensive. They also book up early, particularly for June when the secondary schools are off. You may find it difficult to book now for this summer!
