Minding children while they are sick ???? 23/01/2019 16:29 - Kildare Childminders ----------------------------------- Hi guys, I am a childminder and want to ask a question .... I have been messed around with money days times one week it’s okay to drop off at agreed times of 8am and pick up at 4.30!
It then turned into 6.45am and not collecting till 7pm some night.
I asked to be paid weekly instead of monthly so I was told my money would go down by 20 euro per week.
If I ask for time off(medical app) I am told that it’s not suitable and when I can take my holidays!
I mind3 kids from 1/9/12 and have two of my own 11 and 7months I cook for them and provide dinner etc !
My issue now is that .... one child has gotten the vomiting bug and they told me I would be minding her in my home with my small baby ! Surely that is not my job? Even crèches don’t take children if they are sick! Can someone shed some light on this for me as I never had issues like this with previous employers ! Thanks for reading ☺️
