Just wondering what is a fair rate to pay a minder to collect my 8 year old daughter from school at 2.15pm and mind her until 5.30/6pm for three days a week in my home?

You are asking a minder to look after your child for over three hours a day. At 50 euros a week which is 10 euro a day that works out at three euro an hour. No one could/would work for that. ! In fairness if you were to put yourself in their postition would you work for that. Also , if little ones are in from school they will want snacks which adds to your costs.
