Hello, I am very interested in the hours you mention.
Can you tell me where in Meath you are exactly?
I am interested in both options but can you please tell me the days and times involved in both scenarios?
As a former Dublin Zookeeper I retrained to work with more delightful little ´monkeys´ some years ago to assist and guide them whilst they get up to their funny antics in my home and garden, along with my two young children a boy 8 years and a girl 7 years.I´m based near Trim with a well equipped secure garden with a lovely house with lots of interesting toys and a 15 mins stroll to the playground and library.I would be happy to collect your child / children but it would depend on times and an additional fee would be required. I´ve learnt the importance of routine, caring for the emotional needs of individuals and the need to learn through play as well as meeting the intellectual and physical needs. Each day could incorporate some playing musical instruments, art and crafts, dancing, make believe (puppet shows/dress up), lego, outdoor ball sports, making / playing in tree den, scootering / cycling, nature walks, baking etc. Each day would generally start with free play along with songs and garden play would be encouraged whatever the weather. Lots of rhymes, storytelling, messy play (water/ sand/ mud) and growing stuff as well as picnics and homework. If you would like me to socialise them at playgroups I will happily bring them along but parents will need to pay entry fee. Healthy snacks, drinks and dinner would be provided and encouraged often and patiently.
I can babysit every Thursday I can work some Fridays all day till 6pm Some Saturdays all day. I´m very patient and energetic and I take a very gentle approach to child minding. I like to approach childcare with the philosophy that children learn best when relaxed, having lots of play ( structured and free time), lots of laughter along with having their freedom of speech and expression to develop their individuality. I have references from; 1. Former employer as a childminder for 2 years ( for a 10 month old to 3.5 year old) 2. Most recent employer for minding 15 month old 3. YMCA Youth Leader 4. Eco UNESCO Environmental Youth Leader I have certificates for 1. Completed a TUSLA Always Children First Foundation Training course 2. Quality Awareness Programme with Childminding Ireland 3. Garda vetted 4. Pediatric First Aid Trained 5. Fully insurance with Childminding Ireland. Fees For one child I would charge 7 euro per hour which is very competitive. Driving I would state that parents who would like their child/ren collected from their home. On some occasions I can drop them home too and Ive a full driving license and have business insurance. We could then meet for an informal meeting (with no pressure to commit) for an hour in my home setting so you can get an impression of the environment. If you are still interested after that we could meet again with your child / children and mine for introductions for a while in my home but again no pressure to commit. I appreciate that this is a huge step for all involved and especially an emotionally significant step for any parent and child / children, so I can assure you I would handle this very sensitively and patiently. Re Reference B was our regular childminder from February 2015 until March 2017. B cared for our two young boys who were 19 months and 12 months when they commenced child care with B. B has always been fully engaged with our boys giving the children her full attention. She provides a stimulating environment where the children lead their own play whilst B encourages and facilitates them in this. She has a range of toys that promote learning, imagination and creativity. Our boys had many new experiences and also really enjoyed spending lots of time exploring outside whilst with B. B has always shown complete attentiveness to any special requests that we had regarding our boys care. B has cared for and nurtured our boys like they were part of her family. The boys were fed home made healthy meals and snacks. B is reliable, energetic, creative, fun and great with children I can not recommend her highly enough as a childminder.
