Trick or Treat for Temple Street’s sick Children this Halloween
- Calling all schools! Please sign up to Trick or Treat for Temple Street this Halloween!
Temple Street Children’s University Hospital is asking schools across the country to help the hospital raise funds for the very special patients that it takes care of. The campaign is proudly supported by MiWadi and is one of Ireland’s most important and most enjoyable fundraisers!
Dress up the little ones, don a costume of your own, brighten up everyone’s day at school – all that is asked is that you
have a party and help sick children! “The thinking behind the campaign is simple”, says Temple Street’s Fundraising Manager, Roisin O’Connor. “Ireland dresses up at Halloween. Ireland parties at Halloween. Ireland loves Halloween! Children, young people, and adults – we all celebrate and hold parties each Halloween, so why not do it this year for one of Ireland’s leading hospitals?”
Your Halloween party can make miracles happen. It will help pay for
crucial facilities and equipment in the hospital. This year the funds will go towards essential needs such as a parent’s room where staff can discuss a child’s prognosis with family members in privacy. The funds will also go towards providing facilities such as satellite classrooms on wards where children cannot access the main hospital school.
