Mount Merrion & Dun Laoghaire

KWDance teaches dance in a fun and focused environment. Ballet classes for children from 4 years to teens and adults. Beginners to ballet of any age are most welcome to join our classes

We teach the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus which motivates and encourages students of all ages and levels of ability to develop their dance skills. We offer students the option to take RAD assessments.

In 2018, we held our first Show in the Lexican Theatre then most recently our 2023 Show in the Pavilion Theatre. Parents can see their child’s progress on our class ‘Watching days’

For younger children, the emphasis is placed on developing imagination through movement whilst learning some basics of ballet technique. For older children, students may then progress to learning more formal classical ballet technique and progressing ballet technique.

New teenager ballet class and training for vocational exams.

There are many benefits of learning to dance, including developing confidence, social skills, coordination, musicality, balance, posture and expression.

We keep our classes small so we are able to give positive attention and meet the needs of all the students in the class.

Classes are held in Dun Laoghaire Presbyterian Church on Saturdays and Mount Merrion Community Centre on Monday afternoons. Junior and Senior Infant San Treasa school collection service.
Karen is a registered teacher with Royal Academy of Dance. Please contact Karen for class information and to make a booking.
