Benin Casa
Benin Casa is a unique Montessori School with a large outside play area in Ballyvelly, Tralee. We aim to nurture the homely atmosphere so important to small children going to school for the first time. Maria McGrath, owner of Benin Casa, has over 30 years experience in Montessori teaching and is proprietor of the longest running Montessori School in Tralee. The school age range is from 3 years to 6 years of age.
Children enjoy respected choice and uninterrupted concentration. We include a daily period of meditation and focus, of concentration on purposeful activity involving the mind and body working together, results in feelings of satisfaction, peace, and love toward others, and a high level of progress in physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual development.
